Here's what players and management had to say after the draw against Fiorentina:
MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI:
"In the last few minutes of the first half we started to play not so well, then we got the second goals in the second half but we stopped pushing and we've now dropped two points against a direct rival. We'll have to take the point, which is an important thing in this stadium, but we also have to remember that we can't drop our guard and that we have to play all 90 minutes. We'll have to look at the second half today in order to understand the mistakes we made and not to repeat them. We should have managed possession better. We did that against Chievo, but not today."
MAURO TASSOTTI:
"We did well before the sending off but we weren't able to get started in the second half and we couldn't manage possession well. The psychological aspect changed in the second half. We didn't play the ball around well and they were more determined. We didn't manage possession well. Considering the score after the first half, it's a big slip up for us. A win would have cut Fiorentina out of the Champions League race as they would have been 9 points off . Balotelli will be suspended now against Napoli and Pazzini will play who has always done well when he has been called upon. He now has another full week to improve his condition."
RICCARDO MONTOLIVO:
"First I'd like to thank my team mates and the club as well for having given me the captain's armband for this match as it was never going to be just another match for me. It's a great honor for me if I think of the players of the past who have worn it. Aside from some dubious individual episodes, our approach, mentally speaking, to this game was wrong. Maybe we thought the game was over before it was and it's a shame as this was an important match. We definitely want to win against Napoli and we're asking for a hand from the fans. They've always been behind us and we hope they'll be with us this time as well. I play for the team. I have many friends here, Florence is a very affectionate city and I've always had a good relationship with the city but it's different at the stadium. We have a six point lead on Fiorentina and our objective is to finish in the top three."
