Neymar in tears as he bids farewell to Santos

The gifted attacker wore the Peixe jersey for the last time at the weekend as he prepares to move to Spain.

Neymar bid farewell to Santos in tears after the team's 0-0 draw with Flamengo on Sunday ahead of his summer switch to Barcelona.

The 21-year-old revealed at the weekend that he will continue his career at Camp Nou after agreeing terms on a five-year deal with the Liga champion, but leaving Santos was clearly not an easy decision for the forward.

Neymar was unable to contain his emotions in the clash with Flamengo and couldn't hold back his tears as he wore the Santos jersey for the last time.

Neymar is a product of the Peixe youth academy and has made over 200 appearances for the Sao Paulo side ever since making his official debut in March 2009.

He had also caught the attention of clubs such as Real Madrid and Chelsea, but will line up alongside the likes of Lionel Messi at Barcelona as of next season.
