Arsenal - Fenerbahce Betting Preview: Wenger's side to secure the tie early on at the Emirates

The Gunners return home for the second leg of their Champions League playoff with a healthy advantage and our tipster backing them to continue the rout
Last week Arsenal travelled to Turkey to face Fenerbahce with many people feeling they would struggle against Ersun Yanal's men.

The north Londoners took the game to their opponents though and comfortably came out on top in a 3-0 win, which all but secures their place in the Champions League group stages.
Goals from Kieran Gibbs, Aaron Ramsey and Oliver Giroud made the game safe last week, with Arsenal carrying that good form into the weekend as Giroud once again found the net alongside a Lukas Podolski double, which saw them claim a 3-1 victory away at Fulham.

Wenger needed to get back on track in the league after a terrible start against Aston Villa so that result was most welcome. Betway price the Gunners at a short 7/20 (1.35) to win the match on Tuesday and make it three consecutive wins.

Fenerbahce also secured their first win in their domestic league at the weekend, as Yanal's side narrowly fought past Eskisehirspor 1-0 to clock up three points.

Tonight will be a tough task for the Turkish side, who didn't look at the races last week at home. Betway price them at a long 15/2 (7.50) to take the victory and restore some pride. The same firm price the draw at18/5 (4.60).
With Arsenal outright too short to touch, it's worth scanning the markets to find a more appealing bet. With Arsenal -1 at17/20 (1.85) also slightly unappealing, try backing the home side in the half time/full time market.

Wenger's men are 19/20 (1.95) to be leading at half-time and full-time, a bet that would have easily paid out against Fulham at the weekend.

For those looking for more value, Arsenal's striker is definitely worth backing in the first goalscorer market.

Giroud had a fantastic pre-season and has certainly brought that form into the competitive matches this campaign.

The French forward has netted three in his first three matches, scoring first in two of those games. The price of 4/1 (5.00) with Betway is certainly worth a small investment.
