Lyon - Real Sociedad Betting Preview: Why both teams to score looks a great bet

Our Spanish expert Phil Kitromilides believes these two attacking sides are both capable of scoring this evening
Real Sociedad make the relatively short trip to the Stade Gerland this evening for what should be an intriguing first leg of their Champions League qualifier against Lyon.

Last season the Basques illuminated La Liga, with their expansive, fast moving style of play, yet to return to compete amongst Europe's elite they must first get past the French side, who just so happen to be the team who knocked La Real out of the Champions League the last time they feature a decade ago.

Home advantage, coupled with an impressive start to the Ligue 1 season sees Bet365 price Lyon as the6/5 (2.20) while La Real can be backed at 12/5 (3.40)
Lyon's aforementioned good start has seen them win both their opening league matches scoring seven goals in the process, with Yoann Gourcuff looking particularly dangerous.

Real Sociedad pretty comfortably saw off Getafe 2-0 on Saturday in their league opener, meaning both teams come into the game in decent form.

This could lead us to expect goals at both ends, and the price of evens (2.00) is certainly tempting. Real Sociedad have only failed to score once in their last 24 league games, while Lyon have scored in all but one of their last 11 competitive fixtures.

This match should be entertaining, and there should be goals, with the price of evens (2.00) for both of these attack minded teams to score simply too good to ignore.
